Designed the end-to-end UX for Crypto.com’s first crypto-native retirement product, bringing tax-advantaged investing to over 400 cryptocurrencies alongside traditional stocks and ETFs. The solution simplifies complex retirement rules—such as Traditional vs. Roth IRA selection, account transfers, and contribution matching into a seamless, unified mobile experience within the main app ecosystem.

Crypto.com IRAs provides users several distinct benefits to create a comprehensive and rewarding mixed asset retirement account offering – including a design for tax-deferred or tax-free growth with Traditional or Roth IRA options, respectively; an up to 5% contribution match; an uncapped up to 2% match on transfers and rollovers, and zero account fees to open, transfer, or maintain an account.*

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partnered with 6–7 Product Managers to unify complex, multi-asset workstreams spanning traditional stocks, ETFs, and crypto into a single cohesive IRA product.
Full-Lifecycle Delivery
Owned the end-to-end UX/UI execution across a 6-month product lifecycle—guiding the initiative seamlessly from initial concept and strategy all the way to a successful public launch.
Targeted User Research
Conducted pre- and post-launch surveys and 1-on-1 interviews with US citizens to uncover financial mental models, eliminate user friction, and validate the end-to-end journey.
IRA features
I designed zero-to-one IRA core features—including the IRA Hub, guided Onboarding, Rollovers & Transfers, tax-transparent Withdrawals, and dedicated Transaction Ledgers—while seamlessly embedding IRA account selection into existing app flows like Coin Details, Buy/Sell trading, and Recurring Buys.
Onboarding
A step-by-step onboarding sequence that highlights IRA tax benefits while guiding users through mandatory legal disclosures and identity verification without friction.
IRA hub
A unified dashboard designed to display multi-asset holdings (crypto, stocks, and ETFs) alongside key actions like funding, rollovers, and contribution limit tracking.
Transaction history
A page that shelters event unique to IRAs, such as contributions, match rewards, and distributions.
Recurring buy
Streamlined the recurring purchase flow to support IRA accounts, allowing users to schedule automated DCA investments directly into their tax-sheltered portfolio.
Buy & Sell Crypto
Integrated contextual account switching across core trading entry points—from Coin Details page to order-entry drawers. Users can seamlessly toggle between their main and IRA account anywhere in their discovery journey.

Transfer in
A simple step-by-step tool that helps users transfer stocks, crypto, or cash directly from other brokerages into Crypto.com, complete with clear setup instructions and live status tracking.

A step-by-step page that helps users transfer funds from other 401(k) or IRA accounts into Crypto.com.
withdraw
A transparent distribution workflow that guides users through strict IRS rules before cashing out. The screen dynamically calculates early withdrawal penalties, customizable federal/state tax withholdings, and reward clawbacks so users see their exact net payout upfront.
