FATHER MOTHER CHAIR
The Receipt Chair is a conceptual design done for my father, through understanding his experiences and behaviour.
Since retiring, performing acts of service for family members has become his way of finding self-fulfillment and accomplishment. However, overextending himself in these acts has led to stress and exhaustion.
Inspired by the usage of receipts in his former workplace, we designed a chair that prints and limits his acts of service to fulfil only what is sufficient for him.
